About This Course
A true VR lifeboat and davit launch operations simulator course. Put on a VR headset (Meta Quest, HTC Vive, or any WebXR-compatible device) and stand at the helm of a lifeboat hanging from a ship's davit. Lower the lifeboat to the water with winch controls, release the hooks at the right moment, start the engine, and navigate to the safe zone — all with natural hand controls and head tracking. No headset? No problem — the course also plays in first-person helm view or third-person chase view right in your browser. Each module pairs a playable 3D simulation level with guided lessons and a knowledge-check quiz. Earn XP, stars, and gamification badges as you master davit operations, hook release, water entry, and emergency maneuvers.
